'show proc cpu sorted' results

I run this command and get 'Net background' as the number one hitter right now for a 3825 that's running at 38%. Anything unusually high about that. I've read what's incorporated in 'Net background' but haven't looked to see what is 'normal'...

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ris,

High CPU is complicated and difficult based on the above information.

Net Background process is closely related to interfaces on the router and used to allocate buffers/memory. Check for the interface which is seeing errors, like:

throttles, ignores, overruns, and resets on an interface.

Also check if you have adequate I/O memory:

sh mem statistics

and "sh buffer" to check buffer utilization.
