Hi,
I have my IP phone extenison configured as: 1401 which is a part of DID range (my DID range is " 4107 100-600). my isp is only sending 3 digits (that is 401). Due to this i am unable to make any inbound calling where as outbound calling is happening fine.
Can someone help me to overcome this issue..

Do you have CME or CM ? and if the latter, are you using MGCP or H.323 ?
You must always inmdicate the above when exposing problems.

If the PSTN is sending you 401, just make a translation pattern called 401, and translate it to 1401. Be sure that the translation pattern is in a partition that is visible to the gateway's calling search space, and be sure your extension (1401) is in a partition that is visible to the translation pattern's calling search space.
Hope that helped, if so please rate.
