Fax CCME

Hi NetPro

I have a CCME whit one E1 ti connect to PSTN, inside have a ATA186 connect to FAX, when i send FAX to ATA number the call fail.

My only idea is that the fax machine you're calling is already on a call and is busy. Sometimes fax machines take a bit of time after the last fax has hung up.

Here, it looks like a simply busy. I'm betting if you had called with an analog phone instead of a fax you would have had the same problem.

The fax it's not busy, when i call at fax have ring and fax tone... but when send a fax the call fail.

No slips. Are you using H.323 or SCCP on the ATA ? The first is preferred and you should apply the config from "troubleshooting ata fax" (search).
