Hi,
I am on Unity 7.0 and have a question about Call Handler.
When an office is open I want the AA to not play the greeting, but ring a desk phone. When it is closed the greeting is played.
I thought if I configured the "Call transfer" tab to ring at an extension it would ring at that desk.
Should this work like I want and a bug or di I need to do something else?
Thanks,
Randall

Randall,
Yes, you can set the Closed Call Transfer rule to ring an extension and set the Standard Call Transfer rule to "No, send directly go greeting".
Hope this helps.

Thanks Brandon,
I want the Standard to ring a phone and the closed to play the greeting.
I configured it that way. Do you think I may have hit a bug? I looked, but didn't find anything.
Thanks,
Randall

Just noticed that I got that backwards. Did you check your schedule? What happens when you dial the call handler during open hours? Closed?

I checked the schedule and right now I am open and it does not ring the desk phone. I don't know yet about closed.

Couple of things to check.
1. Make sure the Alternate call transfer rule is not enabled. If it is, it takes precedence over all other rules.
2. Check your Restriction Tables > Default Transfer Rule.

Everything looks good, I only have the std and closed enabled. I even changed the always open schedule and it still goes to the greeting.
