syslog or Trap

Hi,

I need the router to send a syslog alert or SNMP trap when a specific

prefix is removed from the BGP routing table or if the prefix is injected via EIGRP.

Below is the snmp config I was hoping would work. I do receive a trap but it does not

tell the specific prefix that flapped.

snmp-server host 10.70.9.140 Thek9Ov-Ric_7Og tty bgp eigrp ds3 pim syslog snmp.

-Thanks

The SNMP traps for BGP will not tell you when you learn or lose a prefix. I don't see a syslog message that will give you this information, either. However, the router is running 12.4(22)T or higher, you could use the routing event detector in EEM to detect routing table changes, and send syslog messages or traps.
