Two 7961G phones on the same switch keep registering repeatedly on their own. I didn't find any strange settings with the switch but then again I am fairly new to Cisco.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Andy

Are you using CME or CM ?

CME 4.0

Thanks,

Andy

Can you check the phones are getting an address from the router and there isn't a rogue dhcp server around.

No rogue dhcp going on anywhere on the network. Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Andy

Also, they are both 7931 models, not 7961. Sorry.

Allright go ahead and upgrade firmware. I haven't checked what the latest is.

Hi,

If you havent tried, please perform a factory reset.

that has helped in one of our phones doing similar things.
