Can I use the following destination-pattern 10 When I dial 108888 to remote site ?
dial-peer voice 10 voip
destination-pattern 10
session target ipv4:172.29.219.1

No, you have to extend your destination-pattern information.
One way could be to use: destination-pattern 10.... if you have fixed number of digits or 10T if there is more digits to come.
I would recommend to read whole document: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/vvf_c/dial_peer/dp_confg.html#wp1067900 + find information about wildcards used by dial-peers.
