Network Infrastructure to DMVPN

Hello Folks!!.

I want to mount a DMVPN infraestructure. I have three remote networks and my central site. I have some cisco routers, the models are 850 series and I have thinked use it like spoke. The problem is that I don't know what is the router model to use like hub device.

Could somebody to help me, please?.

Hello Elias,

for hub you can consider a C1841 with an AIM VPN hw module if the number of spoker is low in the mid term.

Verify also the IOS images that can be needed using feature navigator

Hello Elias,

yes HSRP is supported in this family.

I guess you would like to use the HSRP VIP as endpoint for IPSec or GRE.

this should be possible too.
