UC520 & phone 7912

Hello,

does the latest UC 500 really support the older phone 7912?

The release notes does not list it:

In "Supported Software Packs" it lists 7911 etc, but not the 7912.

Hi Thomas,

These IP Phones have been EoS since Dec 2006. We do not bundle any firmware for these IP Phones in the UC 500 Software Pack. These IP Phones can still register to the UC 500 using their factory default phone firmware. CCA will recognize these IP Phones but would not provide you with an option to upgrade them. If you need to upgrade the firmware, you will need to use CLI to copy the firmware in the flash and to define the appropriate tftp-server commands.
