Hello everyone,

I want to remove the following "call-home" setting from configuration (NVRAM) or stop it from showing by show runn command on Cat6500 12.2(33)SXH4.

Is it possible or I can't remove it?

If possible, could you please let me know how can do it.

Smart Call Home should be disabled by default.

The global config command 'service call-home' enables it. It's available from 12.2(33)SXH

No service call-home will disable it, however the actual call-home block cannot be removed from the configuration.

Here is a good call home configuration link:

Hi Senthil,

I could not remove Call Home setting so Call Home setting is still existing in the NVRAM ...

Regards,

Shinichi

Hi there,

You can remove the whole config and block from call-home with command: "clear config call-home"

Cheers

Hi, right on this platform, or you saw/managed somewhere else? Got inspired to try on ISRv image, but no such option..

Hello,

did you actually try your suggestion? Clear config is usually an ASA thing.

Take care…

The "no call-home" command in global config should take the call-home information off on the configuration.
