SPA9000, multiple ITSP accounts, displaying Incoming Line, multiple AA

Unanswered Question

Ok, I know the title is a little convoluted but here goes.

I have a client with a SPA9000, SPA400, and 4 SPA942 phones (soon to be more). We just moved everything to a new office where we will be using only SIP Trunking (2 separate trunk accounts from the same provider). So far, other than a small problem with one of the accounts, it all seems to be working well. Now I have 2 problems that I need to solve to make this client happy:

1. I need to display something on the phone that shows what line (or ITSP account) the call is coming in on. This is imporntant because the office is actually being used by a couple of related businesses that are sharing a receptionist. She will obviously answer the phone differently based on what incoming line was called.

I have configured hunt groups to properly route incoming calls, also hoping the phone would display the name of the hunt group but this is not the case.

2. Is is possible to setup 2 or more auto attendants, one for each of the incoming ITSP accounts.

I am using the latest firmware on all of the hardware (that I know of).

I have this problem too.

[Alberto] Try this. Configure a second extension on the receptionist phone (and any phone that is going to be used dual mode/company). Then on the SPA9000 line contact list, set first line contact list to first extension and second line to second extension. The receptionist will always know where the call is coming from because the appropriate line key will flash. This is the easiest workaround. SPA9000 does not offer means to manipulate the incoming number.

[Alberto] No. There is only one autoattendant on the system

I am using the latest firmware on all of the hardware (that I know of).

Alberto
