Have anyone ran into this issue?
There are excessive call drops when 7940 is set to Auto-answer with CS50/55 with lifter.
The call would connect and 1-2 seconds later disconnects.
Cisco TAC concluded that calls are disconnecting because CUCM seeing EndCall button being pressed. Surely no one is pressing EndCall button.
Dropped calls were completely random, up to 5-10% of calls dropping, multiple agents.
As soon as we turn off Auto-answer dropped calls decline by 80%. The remaining disconnects come from the LEC side.
7940 is running latest FW.
Is this Plantronics issue?
