I used to copy an ios from routerA to a tftp server, then back up to routerB. Is there a way to copy a ios directly from router to router? Any technotes would be apprecited.

Yes.
1. Ensure routerA can ping routerB and vice versa.
2. If you want to copy ios from routerA to routerB, in routerA make sure you type the command in the configuration: tftp flash:
3. In routerB, copy the IOS across.
Hope this helps.
