ubr10k bgp convergence issue

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue and if there is a way to resolve this.

We are conducting tests around BGP link failure detection on the uBR10k/SIP-600/10GigE SPA where it is taking around 8-9 seconds to detect the fibres being pulled from the transceiver.

Is there an option to speed this up?

Hello Clive,

if supported on your devices I would try to use BFD (bidirectional forwarding detection).
