Router HSRP configuration

Can anyone let me know weather cisco 1841 router is support HSRP or not if yes then please give me example on that router.

Yes the 1841 does support HSRP. Do you have 2 1841 routers as you cannot configure HSRP with 2 interfaces on the same router.

Thanks!! i have two routers 1841. can you let me know one more thing Jon , i have two 1841 router but one routers serail module is spoild totally , till now can i use those routers in HSRP using FE ports.

primary router

interface fa0/1

ip add 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0

standby 1 ip 192.168.1.2 (DG of PCs)

standby 1 preempt

standby 1 track 1 (if used wan interface as ethernet)

standby router

interface fa0/1

desc ****LAN*****

ip add 192.168.1.3 255.255.255.0

standby 1 ip 192.168.1.2 (DG of PCs)

standby 1 preempt

standby 1 priority 95 (Default is 100 for primary router)

Which version of IOS it needed and one more thing if i want to upgrade my IOS for basic functionality then what are the charges will taken by Cisco or its free.

we are using adv.ent or sp.serv IOS for our client

and charges or fees i do not have any ideas..
