Hi,

Is there anyway to disable config archivings for a certain line in the

configuration. What happens is cisco works looks for config changes and then creates an archive for this.

Everytime it checks the ntp clock-period is a different value so than the previous archive and it creates another version. Is there anyway I can not have it archive for this config change?

Yes, this is called an exclude command. Go to RME > Admin > Config Mgmt > Exclude Commands, and add the commands you consider uninteresting. Note: ntp clock-period should already be there for a wide variety of device types. There are some known gaps in the Cat4K switches, though.
