I have a 4506 switch that has a tendency to lose it's saved configuration after a power loss. It reverts to the switch's default configuration. I am running the following IOS ... Version 12.2(25)EWA11, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1). Has anyone experienced this behavior?

Does it loose the config if, say, you reboot the switch too? Check the config register.

I have seen it happen when you take a power hit , it then starts to reboot and takes another quick power hit . It may be something like that , you can test if you have downtime by just normally powering off and then powering on a couple of times , if it boots normally that may be whats happening but I am not sure there is any way around it unless its critical then you need to look at UPS's to keep that from happening.
