Solved: WLC not recognized in Campus Manager Topology Map

Hi Experts,

WLC (4400 series) is not recognized in Campus Manager 5.1.3 Topology Map despite the device state under CM is Managed.

Please advise!!

Make sure you have SNMPv1 enabled on the WLC. This is not enabled by default.

What does it appear as on the topology map? What is its sysObjectID?

Hi Joe,

It appears as a red box with question mark on the topology. The sys OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.1.1.4.3

But I am using SNMPv2c now...Why SNMPv1 must be enabled?

The version of Campus you have requires it.
