I just recently upgraded to version 8.2 on our ASA's and can no longer see the syslog id of 106100.
When checking under "syslog setup" the entry is there but has the logging level as N/A and will not allow me to change it.
Any one else or how do I fix this? I have many scripts that parse this syslog data that is no longer working.

106100 message is only logged when you enabled logging for an acl. See if you have it enabled.

command ref. for access-list - pls. check the keyword "log"

Yes, I have "log" checked on the ACL along with the logging level to "warnings".
Before the upgrade to 8.2 this was working great.
I found this link where another person was also complaining about it, will try their workaround.

I think the problem is that I use to be able to reclassify the 106100 syslog id as a warning and not as the default informational. No way to do that now.
