after trying to login several times with a bad password, the admin account was disabled (log file).

The "cisco" account password should not be disabled.

The "cisco" account (or any other admin accounts) can be used to set a new password for any other account.

Once a new password is created for the account, then the account is automatically re-enabled.

If, however, the "cisco" account itself winds up disabled, or the password is forgotten, then there are specific steps for recovering the password for the "cisco" account:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ips/7.0/configuration/guide/cli/cli_administration.html#wp1072951

i am talking about "Cisco Security Agent" Management Server.

I tried to login with the admin account, but the passwords were incorrect. Now i know the right password, but i connat login.

In the logfile i have the following entries:

77: CSA01: Sep 24 2009 13:05:17.579 +0200: %CSA-6-TRACE: %[Component=webadmin][PID=5696]: Access to account admin has been disabled.

How can the user account admin be reenabled?
