VG248 Low voltage warnings

Hi,

We have installed a number of VG248s and are getting environment warnings that the power is too low on the 3.3v power supply. These devices fluctuate slightly so that they are not always under whatever threshold triggers this alarm. I need to know how serious this is?

Hi,

The given link will give you more information regarding volatge specifications for VG248.

It also talks about a internal bug.

We had similar issue where VG248 would hang intermittently and upgrading the firmware fixed the issue.

So at this point i would suggest just monitor the sysem closely if you don't see any problems...ignore it.

This is a known bug - CSCse83429

If you open a TAC case they will RMA the chassis. There was an issue with high utilization and this error message in the power supply.
