We have CME version 7.1, and have connected 2 Nos 7916 to Cisco 7942G IP Phones. How do we make the expansion modules to work. Is there any specific configuration for the expansion modules?
also does Double Cisco Unified IP Phone Expansion Module require separate power supply or can the double expansion module work with the inline power from the cisco ip phone?
Not with the 7942, but with the 7962. I did not read correctly the module in your first question.
I the phone has PoE, you only need a single PS for two modules.
