Connecting Cisco phones through VPN

Morning all.

Currently all of our equipment is housed in a single building. We are considering separating our datacaenter and our offices and will have to have the 7940's and 7960's connect through a VPN to our 2801/CME.

Would anyone please recommend what hardware would be needed to accomplish this?

A small router to terminate the VPN on other side (can be a simple GRe tunnel), nothing else.

No, I recommend you use exclusively Cisco equipment for professional and sure results.
