Are there any limitations I should avoid when using CUCiMOC 7.1(2a) with CUCM-BE 7.1(2)? The 7.X SRND says there are only 300 CTI ports available. Does this mean the CUCM can only handle 300 CUCiMOC clients although it can handle 500 sccp phones?

I might be wrong. But I think "CTI port" is different with "CTI connection".

CUCIMOC desk phone use JTAPI, which initiate CTI connection to CTIManager. I don't remember the max. limit. It's like 25,000 (or something around that). It's definitely far more than 300.

You're right Michael, CTI Port is not the same as a CTI connection

CTI ports are the ones you use to integrate with CUE, UCCX, UCCE and any other JTAPI app that requires first hand control of the calls directed to them.

They DO count against CTI connections numbers
