I have configured the User COS to allow "reply to outsiders", allowed "9xxxxxxx" in the restriction table, made 9 the dial prefix to outdial from Unity, yet, when users press 4 -4 to reply to an outside caller, the system tells them they cannot reply to the sender.
Could someone tell me what I am missing?
Thanks in advance,
George

Hi George,
When you say you made 9 the dial prefix to outdial from Unity, I assume you're referring to the Dial Prefix for Live Reply to Unidentified Callers setting on the System Settings > Advanced > Conversations page in Connection 7.0 and later. Did you also set the Minimum Number of Digits Required for Prepending Live Reply Dial Prefix field (on the same page) to something greater than 0? It defaults to 0 and, according to the documentation, that means never apply the prefix.

Tana,
That was it. Works like a charm now.
Thanks very much.
