Cisco 1841 WAN Auto-reconnect option?

Hi, We have the Cisco 1841 running. Recently out ADSL line has disconnected a few times. So we basically just reboot the router to reconnect again. However is there a way to configure the router to auto-connect when the WAN line goes down? via Telnet even?

Thanks!

It should reconnect automatically.

Please post here "show dsl interface".

Hi,

The output is as follows in attachement.

Yes I would have thought it should re-connect when connection is lost - but does not seem to as I have to turn it off and turn it off/on for the Router to connect to the WAN again.

Try firmware 3.0.33 from ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/access/800/

The file need renaming as explained in the related document.

I noticed version 4.10.9 as well : would that not be a good one to load?

No, because it's for different hardware.
