Nested hunt-group issue

Hi all, in some CCME installation I use nested hunt-group to do in incoming calls routing like this:

first ring phones a,b,c and after 10 seconds rings phones d,e,f,g

I do this by using the pilot of the second group as the final of the first.

The problem is that when phones on the second groups rings the callerid is altered with "forward from etc etc".

Is there a way to prevent the callerid rewrite? or there is another way to do nested hunt-group?

Thanks Pasqu.

Hi Pasqu,

I think you see forward from because that at the final of the hunt group, if no answer or busy, it is forwarded to the final destination

so it will be a forwarded call

I think for 2-solutions:

1. to make only one hunt group for the 7 phones, and to check for this delay point.. [need to be checked how to insert a delay] [as a solution u can configure a silent ring 8th phone between c & d]

2. you can block the caller id of the final of the first group, but it will show private call on the 2nd group phones

thanks

Hi, I don't like very much these solution. I think that the best way at this point is to create an AA script that do this. For more nested hunt-group too.

Thanks Enrico.
