Problem Trunk between UC520 and Nortel Switch

Hello,

I want connected an UC520 with a Nortel Switch (Business Ethernet Switch 1010).

I don't arrived to configure 802.1Q between the two equipment.

These equipment are compatible?

UC 500 does support dot1q encapsulation. By default, it knows of two VLANS, 1 and 100 (data and voice respectively). IP subnets are 192.168.10.0/24 (data) and 10.1.1.0/24 (voice).

It's impossible to connect a cisco phone on a Nortel Switch? And connect a Nortel Switch at the UC500?

I don't think it is impossible, we just don't support it. Look here for some ideas of how to integrate with a non-Cisco switch:
