Disk Abnormal Errors

Hi ,

I have a CORE WAE 574 that is reporting the following error:

Software RAID devices:

DEVICE NAME TYPE STATUS PHYSICAL DEVICES AND STATUS

/dev/md0 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/00[GOOD]

/dev/md1 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/01[GOOD]

/dev/md2 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/02[GOOD]

/dev/md3 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/03[GOOD]

/dev/md4 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/04[GOOD]

/dev/md5 RAID-1 ONE OR MORE DRIVES ABNORMAL disk00/05[GOOD]

Can someone please offer some advice on how to resolve this.

Disk01 is bad or does not exist. If you have a single disk 574, I believe this is normal as the software will install with the expectation of two disks.

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply.

I have a 500Gb drive installed into the drive bay and do not see the disk lights flashing.

How do I verify that the installed disks are all functional ?
