I need to replace 7206VXR NPE-G2 by 3845 for some reason. I'm concerned that it should not have any impact on RT voice traffic for some of the sites. How can I compare the performance between the two in terms of how much real time traffic can each handle, queueing delay, backplane capacity, QOS options, etc.

Without getting in too much details, consider the 3846 to have one half or less than G2 performances.
The 3845 is an enterprise-class general purpose router, the G2 is an (admittedly bit dated) service-provider class edge router.

Thanks. I'm looking for some figures to justify keeping 7206 NPE-G2's. Not sure how can I find if there is a threshold on the amount of real time traffic both of these routers can handle.

Both would handle priority (in routers, that a better definition than real-time) traffic in the same manner.
If you search in this forum, you should find a widely circulated cisco document with performance figures for many models.

As already noted by Paolo, both, more or less, handle real-time using the same methods; mostly a question of capacity. The only feature that might skew real-time classification capacity beyond raw performance, 7200 series, I believe, support Turbo ACLs.
The performance reference information I think Paolo was referring to, is attached.

The ISR also supports compiled ACL.

"The ISR also supports compiled ACL."
Which IOS version(s)?
Reason I ask, recall it worked in early 12.4 versions then was removed around 12.4(12)(?). Contacted Cisco TAC, when noticed it no longer was working, recall they said it wasn't supposed to be active in any 12.4 versions and had been "fixed". Don't think I've tried it in 12.4T or any "special" trains.

The 3845 supports DS-3 line rate traffic while supporting IPS, QoS, etc. The 3825 is subrate DS-3.
The 7206XVR is a good box to have at the Data Center aggregating multiple DS-3's.
7206 NPE-G2 has more mem by default and estimated 2mil pps.
If you have DS-3 or below, 3845 is ok, more than one DS-3, keep the 7206.
