hi friends,

i am facing one issue , i am having leased line with static ip.

problem is if i put isp proxy only the pc's able to get internet . if i didnt put proxy on pc you can ping from pc's but no page.

but before it was working without any proxy.

we have any option to put proxy address in router itself.so if people connect they will get internet automatically

You've asked this question before and have been answered already. Here again:

No, there is no way to put proxy address in the router, and if you cannot get to the internet without proxy, something is wrong either in your network or in the ISP network.

hi

wrong in the network in the sense ,

can u give me some possible factors..

thanks

if you can ping but no page, may be you have a problem with DNS.

if you use ISP proxy, you will use the DNS configured in ISP proxy. that's why it works.

-did you define DNS in your PCs?

-can you ping your DNS?

-can this DNS resolve some URL (under cmd try to do ping http://www.yahoo.com)
