Solved: Phones Change Codec

Hi Guys,

i have a problem where i am getting white noise when setting up a conference call. This is intermittent and i have noticed it occurs when the G722 codec is advertised but then 5mins later when trying again it works fine but then the G711 is advertised....any ideas ?

Have you tried disabling advertise G722 codec.

We had a similar problem and it was related to us using both a software and hardware conference bridge.

Which type of CFB you are using,

what CUCM version?

Always using the same CFB ?

where is the physical locations of CFB?

how many CFB in MRGL ?

Hi,

The CFB is Cisco IOS Enhanced CFB, CUCM version is 6.1.3, the CFB is local to the site and there is only one CFB in the list.
