I currently have an ACS server running 3.3.4. It is an old server so I purchased the upgrade to 4.2 and have installed it on a new server. Can I due a database backup on my 3.3.4 server and restore it int the 4.2 server. If not what steps do I have to do so that I don't have to re-creat everything.

Hi Todd,
You can't download the software images directly from cisco.com. you need to open TAC case because only TAC can publish these s/w images.
You must upgrade to ACS 4.1, backup the ACS 4.1 configuration and then upgrade to ACS 4.2.
Please refer to upgrade path for supported upgrade path to version 4.2.
Supported upgrade path:
Reinstalling or Upgrading an Existing Configuration:

Not sure of the licensing intricacies but Im sure there a loads of people with 4.0 media that have since upgraded and dont need it any more.
I've often seen copies on ebay as well.
If you dont get any joy with the TAC or you dont have a contract - try the above.
