Hi
In the UCCE environment, is there a mechanism to backup the ccm-pg, vru-pg.
Since the cisco documents have the backup mentioned only in terms of icmdba for the configuration, hds backup for the historic reports and the regular sql 2000 backup for the database backup. Have not been able to find documents mentioning the backup for the peripheral gateways.
Thanks.

What I've seen done is taking a backup of the registry or sometimes an array image. The PG is probably the easiest thing to get back up and running that backing it up is not really necessary.

Agreed. Ghosting would be fine.
I'd rather rebuild it than rely on some registry backup.

I rather rebuild too, however a good registry backup will save you time specially when you unique registry settings, just as reason codes.
