7600 1 Gig Transceiver Stats

is it possible to view transceiver diagnostics on a 1g port, such as those on a 6748 SFP module?

When i do a show interface transceiver, it only shows the xcvr stats for the ports on the 10 g card.

I get this output when I try for a specific 1 gig port.

R1#sh int gi1/47 transceiver

Diagnostic Monitoring is not implemented.

Hi Victor,

Only when your SFP are the ruggedized version. If you do a "sh interfaces transceiver supported-list " it will show you a list of Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) modules that are supported.

Hi, this is a Cisco SFP. This is a 6748 card with a Cisco SFP xcvr.
