Hi Bala,

Just to add a note to the great tips from Gonz (+5 points my friend :)

When you perform a fresh installation of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you must define any subsequent servers (nodes) in the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration Server Configuration window before you can install Cisco Unified Communications Manager on each subsequent server. To define a subsequent node, click Add New, and perform the procedure in the "Configuring a Server" section. After you add the subsequent server, you can then install the Cisco Unified Communications Manager software on that server.

did u already add sub under system server?

apart from not dns server, did u use dns suffix like cucmpub.cisco.com? if so thats the problem

if u got to pub do show network eth0 detail

and show status to show u all details

do you say before installing the SUB, should I add SUB ip address in Publisher, please correct me if my understanding is wrong. I will try that now.
