fast busy after disconnect from spa400 call or vm

I received feedback from my users that when they exit spa400 voicemail (hitting # to exit) the VM system will say goodbye, but then the line key on their spa941 or 962 will stay lit and trigger a fast-busy signal for several seconds before the line key changes back to idle.  Is there a way this can be avoided so when the call is disconnected from VM, the line key is 'hung up'?  The same occurs if the pstn side of a call via a spa400 disconnects first.  Is there a setting to control this, is it expected to occur, etc.?  Thanks. -Don

Dear Don;

Please try the following (I have not tried but should work).

On the regional page of the phone, go to the reorder tone. It has a syntax similar to this:

480@-19,620@-19;10(.25/.25/1+2)

Change the "10" by something smaller (it is in seconds) so that line is freed earlier.

Note: I believe the tone you are hearing is the reorder tone.

Try and please let me know

Regards
Alberto
