PSTN calls

Hi All,

We are facing a problem while making PSTN calls to outside world using Cisco 2800 router configured as H.323 Gateway & integrated to Call Manager version 4.x.

On the router we have , VWIC-2MFT-E1 card on which PRI is terminated.

Setup was working fine but now when we call up, we need to dial two or 3 times before call gets matured.

can somebody guide on the same...

Check status of your e1 line.

Show controller e1 x/x brief and show isdn service.

you can run debug isdn q931 and check what's going on as well.

good things to check

1.what changed if it was working before ?

2.Did you have "direct indward dial" command under pots dial peer ?

Can you post the results of

sh isdn status

sh voice dsp

sh voice call summary

Do you know how many B and D channels you have on your PRI, could be possible that your using all the channels available on the PRI.
