Tunnel goes down

Hi All,

I have configured a site to site VPN with a cisco ASA 5510.

I was able to setup the VPN. Phase1 & Phase2 are all up and traffic can pass.

What i notice is that from time to time the tunnel goes down and the remote site will have to send a continue ping to my destination IP (IP in the ACL) before the tunnel comes up again.

Can you help on solving this issue?

See ISAKMP Keepalives , enable it at both ends.
