IVR border switches increment the FSPF path cost by 1. I know this from the IASNS course, but I have never been able to find this documented on Cisco.com. Does anyone know where this is documented? I looked in the config guides but did not see it.
I looked also and could not locate any reference to this. Do you think that we need to add it to the IVR configuration Guide as a footnote? This is not something that is configurable to the end user.
Well, if IVR is influencing FSPF path cost, then I think it should be documented somewhere, maybe as a note in the IVR configuration portion of the guide.
