Hello all
We have a voice vlan 206 and data vlan 200 configured on the same ports on our Lan switches.
Trust boundary is at providers edge mpls (they apply dscp 46 to vlan 206 on their mpls)
Our phones do not present any Cos to our switches to trust, and my boss has asked me to come up with a way to make sure that voice Vlan 206 gets priority over anything else on our lan until traffic is handed over to providers mpls edge (and the same goes for traffic from the mpls to our voice vlan).
Can this be done? Can i make sure that for instance voice vlan 206 gets dscp 46 on our internal network and is prioritized ?
Is there a common way to do this?
I would be very gratefull for any help.
