Hi there,

are there any options to LMS/Portal automatically logout a user having an idle session of xx mins?

The Tomcat session will automatically expire are two hours of idle time. This is not configurable.

Would it be possible to edit the corresponding tomcat-config file?

Or does editing affect other CW-Processes

This does control the session logout time, but modifying this file is not supported. If you run into problems, you will have to revert before TAC can help you.
