Codec Restriction Help Please

Kindly assist with this pertinent problem.

How do i filter the number of supported codecs on my sip-outbound trunk? (i would like to enable support for only the following codecs (t38,g729ab,pcmu,pcma,gsm-hr). Due to the large number of supported codecs by default on the media gateway (as5400-xm) packets get fragmented as the mtu size of 1500 is exceeded and as such calls fail because the SIP invite never gets to the other end. thanks

Configure a codec list and apply to DP.

As explained in documentation and training.

I have checked the documentation. however can you let me know exactly which of these would solve the problem?

By Editing the Trunk Group Property

1. Traffic -> Trunk Groups -> TrunkGrp Property -> GWDefaultCodecString

OR

By Editing the Result Type for DP

2. Number Analysis -> Result -> Codec -> CodecString
