Apparantly ASA5500 has a limitation on 256 IP-adresses in a dhcp pool ??!!!
Why and is there a workaround/ hidden command to disable this limitation, which seems rather arbitrary ? Thanks. /JJ

I don't know of any commands to alleviate this, there probably aren't any. I would assume the limitation is due to the fact that general LAN design suggests no more than 254 hosts per IP segment.

The size of the pool is limited to 32 addresses with a 10-user license and 128 addresses with a 50-user license on the Cisco ASA 5505. The unlimited user license on the Cisco ASA 5505 and all other security appliance platforms support 256 addresses.
