What are the remote access options to connect to the CUC on the VTG Platform for administration. Is it possible to attach a modem and dial in remotely to access the cli, for instance.
Can anybody provide insight into how they remotely manage and support deployments of Cisco Unity at a customer locations where access via an IP based solution may not be possible.
The documentation for Cisco Unity suggests using RDP, VNC (which are IP based) or Symantec PCAnywhere (modem), which may be solutions for the Windows based servers, but what about the Linux based platforms.
One of the proposed solution is to use an IP KVM to connect to the server, but that is not an option for locations where a public ip address may not be available.
Is there a simpler solution?
