Port Security Blocking New MAC on PC Replacement

Recently we have run into problems with port security when a PC is replaced. I have cleared the mac address table in the interface, cleared the sticky address, shut, no shut, removed, and readded port security. The PC will grab an IP address when port security is removed, but as soon as it's reapplied it drops connectivity again. Is anyone else running into this problem??

Hi,

Have you checked the mac address learned on the port in the running config of the interface..?? is it the same as of PC ? sometimes due to mac spoofing by viruses multiple macs are learned on the switch's interface and as port security by default enables single mac on an interface it gets violated upon learning 2 mac addresses.

Can you check that ..
