AAR with Intercluster Trunk (non-gatekeeper controlled)

We have two clusters. Both UCM 7.x

Does AAR work with intercluster trunks (non-gatekeeper controlled)? We would obviosly use locations for CAC.

If we exceed location defined bandwidth for location set on inter-cluster trunk, can calls fallback to AAR and route over PSTN?

I understand if call setup fails, typical routerlist/group scenario would route calls over PSTN. But hopefully we can use AAR to route calls over PSTN if bandwidth is exceeded on inter-cluster trunk.

thanks

Does anyone knows the answer for this question?

Assuming you want to dial a phone from the other cluster using AAR the answer is no, in CUCM 7.X this functionality is only for phones within the same cluster.

In CUCM 8.X this is possible using the SAF CCD functionality as the E.164 DNs are learned and this allows PSTN overflow from calls to another cluster.
