input and output rate on fastethernet in cisco router and switches

hi ,

traffic coming inside to interface is inbound and traffic leaving the interface is outbound .

similarly in CAT5 cable which pair is used for input rate and which pair is used for output rate , when we force speed 100 Mbps and duplex full

to be noted that two types of Rj-45 ports exist one type "NIC" and one "switch" they can be connected with a straight cable because the "switch" port receives on the wires where "NIC" port sends and viceversa.
