Hello Olivier,

do you mean how to configure and how to access the device?

if it is new you should try to setup a console connection to the console port of the supervisor.

You need to use the console cable that is provided with it with an RJ-45 end and a DB-9 connector to be placed in the RS-232 of your PC.

After an initial configuration on the console you can then telnet to the switch.

Edit:

a GUI environment for C4500 exists named Cisco Network Assistant and its usage is described here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12.2/46sg/configuration/guide/netasist.html

Edit2:

I've seen in your other thread that you have already setup your C4500 for CNA access: so forgive my notes in this post they are useless for you.

I can tell you I never used it.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
