Hi,

As some of us have been running windows 7 for a while now I was wondering if there will be a full blown IPSEC client for Windows 7 (32 & 64bit) anytime soon?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

Cisco has added support for Windows 7 in the 2.4 version of AnyConnect VPN client. Given the support in AnyConnect I am not optimistic that Cisco will add support for Windows 7 to the IPSec client.

Not 64-bit anyways, there might be a 32-bit version at some point.

Cisco VPN client 5.0.6 is available as of today, with support for Windows 7 (32-bit only):

For 64-bit support you will have to use Anyconnect (the SSL vpn client).

If you use L2TP over IPSec you can use the built in Windows client. See this link for the tutorial with video.
